Here you will find answers to some of the most common questions about our wedding day. If there is anything else you are unsure about, please reach out to us directly.

By what date should guests RSVP?
Please RSVP by Friday, 15 August 2025 using the form on our website.
If you encounter any issues with the online RSVP, feel free to reach out to
Paul or Michaela. We will be happy to help.
As we will be finalising numbers and details shortly after, we will assume that those we have not heard from by then are unfortunately unable to attend and
we will miss you on the day.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?​​
The ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden, under cover. Guests will walk along paved pathways and briefly step onto grass to reach their seats.
The cocktail hour will also be held outdoors in the garden, with some shaded
cover available. The reception will take place indoors.

What should the guests wear?
Our dress code is formal. Suits and ties for gentlemen, and elegant dresses or evening attire for ladies.
Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place outdoors on grass, so
we recommend avoiding stilettos or very thin heels for comfort.

What will the weather be like in Robertson?
November in Robertson is usually warm and sunny during the day, with cooler evenings. The ceremony will take place outdoors but under cover, so you will be protected from the sun or a light drizzle. We recommend bringing a light jacket just in case.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 16:30, but we kindly ask guests to arrive from 16:00
to allow enough time for everyone to be seated and settled.

May guests take photos during the ceremony?​​
We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be tucked away during the ceremony. We would love for everyone to be fully present in the moment with us.
Our photographer and videographer will be capturing everything beautifully including our guests.

What happens after the ceremony?​​
Following the ceremony, guests will be welcomed with drinks and canapés while we take a few photos. After that, we will head indoors for a delicious dinner, speeches, dancing, and celebration!

Is accommodation provided?​​
We are delighted to provide and cover accommodation for all our guests on Saturday night. Once the RSVPs have been confirmed, we will provide further details regarding where each guest will be staying.

May guests bring a plus-one or their child/children?​​
We have thoughtfully planned our guest list and have included plus-ones or children where possible. If your invitation mentioned a guest or included your children by name, we would love have them join us!
If you are unsure or have any questions, please reach out - we are happy to clarify.

What if I have dietary requirements?
Please let us know about any dietary needs or allergies when submitting
your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate you with care.

What will be on the menu?
We will start the celebration with drinks and canapés after the ceremony, followed by a seated dinner featuring a delicious main plate with both chicken
and steak. The rest of the meal includes a few special touches we are keeping
as a surprise.
Later in the evening, mini desserts will be served, and we will cut our wedding cake - though it is a small one, so we may not have enough to share. We hope you will enjoy the other treats on offer as we celebrate the night away!

Will there be an open bar?
Each table will be provided with a selection of wines, champagne, water, and possibly juice for you to enjoy throughout the evening. If you would like
something extra, a cash bar will be available for additional drinks.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for.
If you would like to honour us with something extra, we have set up a fund instead of a traditional gift registry. We will share the account details closer to the day for anyone who would like to contribute.
Any contributions to help us start our married life together would mean the
world to us.

What time will your wedding reception end?
Our reception will end around 00:00. Last rounds are served strictly 30min prior to closing time.
